With 21 years of dedicated service in public safety, Matthew Price has earned the trust of our community through his commitment to integrity, professionalism, and community-first policing.  In 2025, he was honored as Sullivan County’s Public Servant of the Year, a reflection of his unwavering dedication to the people he serves.

Matthew is running for Sheriff to bring experienced, accountable, and visible leadership to law enforcement in Sullivan County.  His priorities are clear:

• Public Safety First: Strengthen community policing, reduce crime, and ensure faster response times across the county. 
• Transparency & Trust: Build public confidence through open communication and ethical leadership. 
• Community Engagement: Partner with neighborhoods, schools, and local organizations to keep Sullivan County strong and united. 
• Support for Law Enforcement: Equip and support deputies with the tools and training needed to serve effectively and safely.
